In 2018, Old South was proud to join the Reconciling Ministries Network in seeking the inclusion of people of all sexual orientations and gender identities in both the policy and practices of United Methodist Church. We strive to be a safe place for all people to worship. On April 29, 2018 our congregation voted overwhelmingly to adopt this Reconciling Statement:

We are a Reconciling Congregation: We believe that all people are created in the image of God and therefore all people are welcome here, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
